Lindsey Halstead

Lindsey has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia. As a mentor and tutor through school, her interest and passion for others grew. She pursued work with developmentally disabled adults and from there began investing her time in gaining knowledge and understanding of the mental health field. Lindsey’s experience consists of working with individuals who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. She has a person-centered approach and is informed about CBT, TF-CBT, and solution-focused. Lindsey is invested in understanding people from all walks of life and is actively engaged in advocating for mental health care. She found a passion in trauma work and walking alongside others in their journey through healing and self-discovery. In her free time Lindsey enjoys hiking, exploring new cities, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.
