Nicole Zabasajja, M.S., LGPC
Nicole received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Temple University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington D.C. She is a licensed graduate professional counselor and has experience working in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Outpatient Mental Health Clinics, and Urgent Care organizations.
Nicole has worked extensively with children and adolescents experiencing mood disorders, adverse life events, and behavioral challenges. Her goal is to improve communication between adolescents and their family members, enhance self-esteem, and promote positive functioning both at home and in school. Her clients develop healthy decision-making skills and practice effective coping mechanisms.
Nicole has worked in a variety of settings, including Employee Assistance Programs, Outpatient Mental Health Clinics, and Urgent Care environments. Her primary areas of focus are mood disorders, anxiety, family/interpersonal issues, anger management, communication skills, and self-esteem. She also has extensive experience providing crisis stabilization and connecting individuals dealing with trauma or domestic violence to ongoing treatment.
Nicole’s ideal clients are adolescents and adults looking to increase emotional regulation, maintain work-life balance, cope with trauma, and build self-awareness. She is especially equipped to handle issues related to self-esteem, life transitions, family dynamics, and emotional dysregulation.
