Delandria Staton

DeLandria is a licensed clinical professional counselor with experience working with diverse individuals including children, teens, adults, and families. DeLandria is trained in utilizing cognitive-behavior and trauma-focused therapy and has worked with individuals that have been affected by both childhood and adult trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, behavioral and adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression.

She has experience providing individual, group, and couples counseling in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, universities, and community-based programs. DeLandria utilizes an integrative approach to therapy and emphasizes on tailoring each client based on their situation. She enjoys helping teens and adults gain a deeper understanding of their resiliency and purpose. She encourages clients to gain more self-confidence, a stronger sense of identity, the ability to build healthy interpersonal relationships and to trust their own decisions.

DeLandria holds a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. DeLandria is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Psychology with a concentration in Consulting at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
