From BreeAnn:
“I was born and raised in CA and relocated to Maryland. It is my strong heritage as a Chicana that pushed me to find a career that would allow me to give back to my community and POC’s in a therapeutic space that is inclusive to diversity, yet healing and valuable. I have a Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore, and began my journey of social work in high school and elementary school settings working with undocumented students and their families to find therapeutic supports and community based resources while also imbedding advocacy for our underprivileged families. My passion is working with youth and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in CBT with a trauma focus while implementing a cross-cultural lens to all the work that I do. Every person is unique and I take an eclectic approach to the modalities I use in our sessions. I believe in partnering with clients as their own experts and finding ways for them to grow and thrive. “
